Is my engine knocking? I purchased a 2016 Kia Soul! 2.0 a few months ago at 55k. It's been running quite lovely since then and I'm almost at 60k. I've been reading online, however, about engine failures at around the 60k mark. From what I've gathered, a knocking engine sound is a common indicator of the engine going out.
